Placement
Placement will start in the last month of your course. Be prepared for it in advance as that month will be full of tasks like :module re-tests, final cdac exams, project work etc.Cdac will provide you with number of sessions related to soft skills as well as aptitude training along with that following books can be great help while preparing for placements:
1.Quantative Aptitude by R.S. Agarwal
2.Test your C skills,Understanding Pointers in C, Exploring C, DS in C/C++, by Yashwant Kanethkar.
- Remember these books are only to provide a varied set of C questions which are generally asked during recruitment ; for concepts refer to the books which cdac has provided.**

Companies Visited for Aug 2012 batch
You will definitely get placed if you're amongst the toppers. CDAC hires toppers without any back papers. Dont get demoralized if you aren't placed in first 1-3 companies, thats the matter of Luck many times. In CDAC there is No order of companies visiting for placement, you might get the highest after 3-4 months as companies continues to visit CDAC for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteIts important to attend every placement drives, even if you plan to search jobs by your own make sure that you are present in every possible placement drives 'cause after each placement drives your chances of getting a job increase as the competition decreases.
Technical Knowledge is key for getting a job where C,C++,Embedded C,Networking is essential.
Package varies from 10k-50k depends.

DeleteHello..I want to know about some info about placement. I got 58.5% in 10th, 65% in 12th and 76% in btech( ECE). I am little bit confused if I will go for cdac so at the time of placement my 10 th % will affect my placement or not ...if it will not so which is the best course through which I can enhance my knowledge.

Only go if you have more than 70% aggreagate in your academics. Most companies dont give a damn about what your CDAC course is. your college grades only matter. Otherwise go for vector.
